Ontrack PowerControls allows you to set precise search criteria and run detailed queries across multiple data sources, selecting any combination of mailboxes or folders, regardless of the data source. You can even search your live Exchange Server targets and copy, move, delete or export messages from your live environment.
Search Efficiently
When searching for email messages, folders, mailboxes or attachments, Ontrack PowerControls allows administrators to define precise search criteria and run searches across multiple mailboxes or EDB files at the same time.
Extracting only those items that fit exact search parameters not only saves you time but also eliminates the need to restore an entire backup. Search for specific messages using the following criteria:
- Message author or readers
- Subject
- Date
- Keyword(s)
- Attachment(s)
Organize Messages
Ontrack PowerControls features the ability to view all instances of a given message or attachment in the EDB Source(s) within the same database as well as messages related by conversation. Using the flexible Message Views tool, Ontrack PowerControls lets administrators arrange messages with three unique views. Message views are available for messages in the source pane, search results pane, and also from another message view.- Conversation View – allows the administrator to see a histogram of all replies or forwards associated with a given message to analyze the conversation thread.
- Message Table View – shows all folders that reference a single message.
- Attachment Table View – shows all messages that reference a single attachment.
- Search your live Exchange server target and copy, move, delete or export messages.
